Rob Kidd took part in the Chirk Sprint Triathlon, Sunday 17 April 2011.

He won in his age group in a time of 1hour12mins27secs.

The event was 400mtr swim, 12 mile bike ride and 3 mile run.

Rob has continued with his success when he took part in 125^th Annual Wenlock Olympian Games. There was a new bike course(19Km) and run(7Km), both very hilly. The swim was 500 mtrs. Rob finished in 1 hour 25 mins 11 secs and won gold in his age group.

Another good showing for the club.

Sunday, 17^th July 2011 saw club members Tom Garbett and Rob Kidd compete in the Oswestry Triathlon.

The course included a 400mtr swim, 19k hilly bike and 5k off road run.

Tom finished in an excellent time of 1hour 22mins 42secs to win 1st junior prize. Rob finished in 1hour 28mins 29 secs to win 1st male 60 prize. Well done to you both.
